JEFFERSONVILLE MAYOR MIKE MOORE ANNOUNCES RE-ELECTION BID

Promising to continue moving Jeffersonville forward, Mayor Mike Moore today announced his bid for re-election in a video posted on social media.

“When you elected me as mayor more than a decade ago…together we started taking Jeffersonville to the next level,” said Moore. “We brought in new businesses, good paying jobs, improved our streets, parks and quality of life. And we’re not done yet.

“Let’s keep investing in our neighborhoods, focusing on our foundation and growing responsibly,” said Moore. “We’re on an exciting path of unprecedented growth and prosperity. Our city is stronger than ever. Let’s keep moving forward, together.”

Moore proclaimed that he has “the greatest job in the greatest city” in the announcement.

“I think of all the great memories of my childhood growing up in Jeffersonville. Our city was different back then, but its spirit remains the same today,” said Moore who was raised in Jeffersonville and owned Jerry’s Family Restaurant before his election in 2011. Since then Jeffersonville has enjoyed record job growth with the city making significant investments to improve infrastructure and quality of life for its residents.

“What we’re doing is working. Look around Jeffersonville and you will see we’re a city on the move. We’re the place where businesses and families want to call home. But our work isn’t done,” said Moore. “That’s why I’m excited about our future. Together let’s build upon what we’ve done and enjoy even more success.”

The general election is November 7, 2023.
